Local SEO
Local SEO.Google has changed the landscape in which small businesses do business on the internet. You used to be able to hire a search engine optimization (SEO) company to rank your site near the top of Google, or you could advertise on Google. Depending on your business, you could easily spend thousands of dollars on an advertising, or SEO campaign.
More so than ever, SEO is getting more competitive and expensive. If you want to rank near the top of Google for your local business, you’re going to have to pay a reputable SEO company a few thousand dollars a month to do so. The costs associated with SEO are going up, and those costs are being passed onto you, the local business owner.
For most small business search queries, Google dominates the first page with their Google My Business (GMB) application. Some of these companies that rank near the top of Google have spent thousands of dollars, are now being pushed down below the Google My Business results.
